Learning Through Excitement and Exploration
The new year kicked off with excitement as science leapt off the page and into real life at several of our elementary and middle/high school programs. Students experienced an unforgettable day of discovery, becoming active participants in the hands-on learning and high-energy science demonstrations brought to them by Over the Top Science and Engineering.
From the moment the program began, students were fully engaged. They watched in awe as Van de Graaff generators crackled with electricity, gasped at mind-bending smoke rings, and cheered during the crowd-favorite elephant toothpaste experiment. Each demonstration sparked curiosity, encouraged questions, and turned scientific concepts into exciting, memorable moments.
Building a Love for Science
This experience went beyond watching experiments—it brought science to life. Through interactive learning, students strengthened their understanding of STEM concepts while discovering that science can be energetic, creative, and fun.
Inspiring Future Scientists
Experiences like this spark curiosity and help students imagine themselves as future scientists, engineers, and innovators. When learning is hands-on and exciting, it sticks—and this day proved just how powerful that can be.
